William H. Davis lll, 59, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2017 at Gettysburg Hospital. He was the son of the late William H. and Alice Mae Davis.
William (Bill) was born November 21, 1957 in Richmond, VA. He was a graduate of Frostburg State University. He retired as a Special Education Teacher for Carroll County Board of Education, served on the Board of Directors at Lake Heritage and coached high school football. Bill was a loving, caring, and compassionate father who was the light of his son's life.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy L. Davis of Gettysburg; his son, Joshua Graham; step-daughter, Christina O'Connor of MI, sister, Beth Martin; cousins, Jack, Lissa, Jessica, Nicole and Sammy Matthews of Fairfax, VA; Colleen McGraw, Mark & Maryann McGraw and Todd & Debbie Strasser of OH, Debbie Breighner & Wayne Miller of Fairfield PA, Susan Williams & Bryan Cutler of Thomasville, PA; Mike & Bonnie Miller of Taneytown, MD.
