Tim T. Culp, 82 of Cashtown passed away peacefully at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg on Thursday, February 12, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 59 years to Jo Ann (Cutshall) Culp, whom he married on October 2, 1966.
Born March 30, 1943 in Gettysburg, he was the son of the late Roy D. and Marian D. (Taylor) Culp.
Following graduation from Gettysburg High School in 1961, Mr. Culp entered military service in the U.S. Army Reserve until 1970. He is fondly remembered by his colleagues at Peters Funeral Home for his dedication and professionalism and sense of humor. Previous to his many years in funeral service, Tim worked for Rental Uniform Services (now Cintas). He was also a longtime faithful member of the Trinity United Church of Christ in Cashtown. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, watching sports (especially the Dallas Cowboys), tinkering with all things mechanical and watching westerns.
In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by his son, Troy T. Culp of Orrtanna; his nephew, Douglas Culp and wife Sharon of Cashtown; his niece, Deb Flickinger and husband Wayne of Biglerville, as well as many loving extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Tom Culp and Terry Culp, as well as his nephew, Jeffrey Culp.
A memorial service to celebrate Tim's life will be held at 11am on Friday, February 27th at Trinity United Church of Christ; 1126 Old Route 30 in Orrtanna (Cashtown) with Rev. Robin Roof officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10am until the start of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Adams County SPCA; 11 Goldenville Rd.; Gettysburg, PA 17325 or online by visiting www.adamscountyspca.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Peters Funeral Home in Gettysburg.
