He was born July 2, 1941 in Gettysburg the son of the late John and Clara (Bricker) Rosensteel.

Tom was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Gettysburg and was employed for many years at AgCom, Gettysburg. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was loved by all of the nurses who came to know him during his stay at Genesis.

He is survived by his sister, Rose M. Hess, New Oxford and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jenny Shriver; Margaret Rosensteel; Catherine Rosensteel; Louise Wildasin and Patricia Gardenhour, brother, George Rosensteel and nephews, Donald Gardenhour and Terry Shriver.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 22 West High Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Fr. Jonathan P. Sawicki as celebrant. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of the Mass at church. Burial will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Gettysburg.
