Theodore D. "Teddy" Haller, 80 of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at Manor Care North in York.

Born November 15, 1939 in Waynesboro, he was a son of the late Earl G. and Mary (Piper) Haller.

Mr. Haller served Army national guard of Pennsylvania for eight years; Ted worked and retired from PENNDOT and he belonged to numerous clubs Gettysburg Moose, Gettysburg American Legion, McSherrystown Moose, Hanover Elks and the Harney VFW. Ted enjoyed Sprint car racing, NASCAR, hunting and golfing. Most of all Ted loved having fun and hanging out with friends which he had a ton of and joking with them; he is known and loved by many people in the community.

Mr. Haller is survived by Three children, Theodore Haller, II, of NC, Janine M. Haller and companion Phil of Stewartstown, April M. Haller of FL; two grandchildren, Isaac Shively of Stewartstown, Danielle Markel of York and a great grandson Jesco Shively.

In addition to his parents, Theodore was preceded in death by a daughter, Christi C. Shively; two brothers, Richard and Paul Haller.

There will be no public viewing. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
