Obituary

Tammy L. (Gotwalt) Cullison, 46, of Bendersville and formerly of Summit Hill, PA, entered into God's care Friday, June 13, 2008 at her residence. She was the loving wife of William L. Cullison, Jr. and mother of Nicole.

Born May 10, 1962, in Rockville, MD, she was the daughter of Edwin L. Gotwalt, of Orrtanna, and the late Beverly (Thomas) Mattrazzo.

A 1980 graduate of Panther Valley High School, Tammy earned her Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Thompson Business Institute, Harrisburg, in 1982. She began her career with Lutheran Social Service Home Care, Gettysburg. Tammy was then employed for 15 years as a unit secretary at Gettysburg Hospital. She also played a vital part in her family's business, Mister Ed's Concessions, Orrtanna, for 33 years.

In her free time, Tammy enjoyed watching Nascar, especially Tony Stewart, and crocheting. She loved the outdoors and could often be found either camping or spending time on Lake Codorus. Her most cherished possession, though, was her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and father, is her daughter, Nicole Lee Cullison and her fiancé Isaac Bucher of Lebanon; step-mother, Patricia Gotwalt; step-daughter, Rebecca Finn of Taneytown; brother, J. Michael Taylor of Gettysburg; step-brothers and sisters, Sonny, David, Donna, and Marlene Mattrazzo, all of Summit Hill; uncle, William Thomas of Tamaqua, PA, and his son Skip; aunt, Dotty Mayernik and her husband Mike of Lansford, PA, and their children Fran, JoAnn, Pattie, Michael, and Tommy; two grandsons, Austin and Dylon; and her cats, Denver and Destiny.

She was preceded in death by her step-father, Warren Mattrazzo.

The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2008 at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with Pastor Dale Williams officiating. A viewing will be held between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.

For those desiring, contributions may be made in Tammy's memory to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 3293, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
