Sean Paulissen, 36, of Gettysburg passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at his residence.

He was born July 2, 1976 in Topeka, KS the son of JoAnn (Ritz) Paulissen, Gettysburg and the late George Paulissen.

Sean graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1994 and was employed at Garry Owens Irish Pub, Gettysburg. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, the outdoors, cooking, music and gardening. Sean was a very caring and giving person with a very big heart.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his brothers and sisters, Rick Van Buren and his wife Mary, Gettysburg, Heather Redding and her husband Tim, Gettysburg, John Van Buren and his wife Shell, Topeka, KS and Dotty Van Buren and her husband Martin West, St. Louis, MO, nieces, Medora West and Miranda West of St. Louis, MO, Aria Redding, Gettysburg, Kayla Van Buren, Topeka, KS and Annabelle Van Buren, Bedford, PA, nephews, LeStat Van Buren, Topeka, KS and Anthony Van Buren, Bedford, PA and aunt, Mary Lou Skinner, Augusta, WV.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 2 PM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 1 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
