Scott A. Hubbard, 42, of New Oxford and formerly of Gettysburg passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at York Hospital. He was the companion of Barbara Buchanan, New Oxford.
He was born January 23, 1971 in Gettysburg the son of Donald G. Hubbard, Sr., New Oxford and the late Teresa M. (Nunemaker) Hubbard.
Scott was a self-employed cabinet maker and enjoyed gardening, hunting and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his brothers, Donald G. Hubbard, Jr. and his companion Missy Redding, Gettysburg and Michael J. Hubbard, Gettysburg, sisters, Christina A. Swinn and her husband Scott, Gettysburg and Sharon K. Hubbard and her companion Gary Miller, Gettysburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate the life of Scott A. Hubbard will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Stephen W. Broache officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Saturday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
