Ruth A. (Warman) Naugle, 89 of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2017 at Transitions Healthcare. She was the loving wife of the late Richard B. Naugle who passed away in 1982; together they shared 36 years of marriage.
Born Thursday, February 10, 1927 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur W. and Lila E. (Myers) Warman.
Ruth was a long time member of Gettysburg United Methodist Church and was a part-time title search clerk for over 25 years at the former Bigham & Raffensberger Law Firm, Gettysburg.
Ruth is survived by three children, son, Jeffrey A. Naugle and his wife Deborah of Quakertown, son, David E. Naugle and his wife Sandy of Gettysburg, Rebecca Redding of Gettysburg; nine grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, Bret, Kyra, Sarah, Angie, Brian, Lauren, Justin; nine great grandchildren, Madelyn, Connor, Ellie Ruth, Trey, Madison, Savannah Ruth, John, Zachary; a stepbrother Raymond Creager and his wife Carolyn.
In addition to her parents and husband Ruth, was preceded in death by a sister, Thelma Bulleit; two brothers, Arthur, Jr. and Clayton Warman, and her stepmother, Mary Creager Warman.
A service to celebrate the life of Ruth will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Ruth's memory to Adams County Library, 140 Baltimore St, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
