Ruby E. Funt's Obituary
Ruby E. Funt, 89 of Biglerville, died Saturday, July 9, 2011 at the Gettysburg Center. She was the wife of the late Glenn D. Funt who died May 26, 1991.
Born November 30, 1921 in Roanoke, VA, she was the daughter of the late Alton D. and Susan (Goin) Townsend.
Surviving are three daughters and a son: Judy Woerner, Gettysburg; Richard A. Funt, Biglerville; Joanne Irvin, Gardners; Donna Riddle, Aspers; a brother: Linwood Townsend, TN; a sister: Alice Shelleman, Gettysburg: also 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister: Ruth Funt in 1987.
There will be no public viewing. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325 is assisting the family with their arrangements.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ruby to Bender's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1385 Rentzel Road, Biglerville, PA 17307
