Obituary

Ronald "Ronnie" Joseph Davis, 54, of Littlestown, died suddenly at his home on July 6, 2016.
Born August 5, 1961 in Baltimore, he was the beloved son of Barbara Burgess (Likes Davis) of Westminster Maryland and the late Donald Alton Davis.
Ronnie spent many years in Sykesville and attended South Carroll High; he had previously worked at Lowes of Westminster, Evapco and Taney Corporation.
Ronnie's lifelong love of sports began with playing recreational football and basketball; he enjoyed playing sports in his free time. When he was in high school Ronnie played football and wrestled; he was also an avid Ravens, Raiders, Orioles and Terps fan and loved talking sports.
Ronnie loved music, trivia, history, politics and spending time with his beloved dog Mary; he particularly loved the ocean.
In addition to his loving mother, Ronnie is survived by his sisters Kathy Sullivan and husband Paul, Bonnie Cheak and husband Chuck, Lynn Shamer; aunt Ruth Likes; daughter Amber Ryan; sons Randy Davis, Eric Davis, Chad Davis; nieces and nephews Steven Graybeal, Jason Graybeal, Christa Shamer, Nick Graybeal, Mandy Shamer, Kandace Skursky, Becky Lerman, Michael Shamer, Ryan Sullivan, Ashley Cheak; and many other great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Ronnie was preceded in death by his grandparents Maxwell & Isabelle Likes and Truman & Virginia Davis (Nicholes).
Ronnie is gone from our touch but never from our hearts.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Historic St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Sandusky Road in Sykesville, MD. Interment immediately following the service at Lakeview Memorial Park.
