Robert Connolly's Obituary
Robert Connolly, 93, of Gettysburg, died Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Genesis Gettysburg Center. He was the husband of Stephanie (Surmik) Connolly.
Born December 16, 1916 in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry and Florence (Renard) Connolly.
Mr. Connolly was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served his country honorably during World War II. A 1938 graduate of Villanova University, he was a CPA who practiced in New Kensington, PA. In his free time, Mr. Connolly greatly enjoyed the arts, especially classical music, reading, and watching movies.
Surviving are three sons, Brian R. Connolly and his wife Carol of Orrtanna, Owen Connolly of St. Paul, MN, and Stephen Connolly of Florida.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Glenside.
