Obituary

Richard L. "Lynn" Repp, 46, of Orwell, OH, and formerly of New Oxford, entered into God's care Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Geauga Medical Center in Chardon, OH. He was the companion of 28 years of Carolyn A. Myers, of New Oxford.

Born March 8, 1962 in Hagerstown, he was the son of Marien (Buzzard) Repp Miner, of Mont Alto, and the late Louie Repp.

Lynn was most recently employed as a supervisor with IFCO Systems, formerly Pallet Outlet, in Biglerville. Prior to that, he was employed with Knouse Foods and East Coast Helicopter, Gettysburg.

In his free time, Lynn loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed swimming in "dirty-water places" like quarries, rivers, and ponds. Lynn also liked bowling, shooting pool, and playing pinball.

Surviving, in addition to his companion, is his daughter, Tracy Myers, of New Oxford; one sister; one step-brother; and two step-sisters. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pete and Margaret Repp; and his step-father, Ronnie Miner.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with Rev. Michael E. Allwein officiating. Viewing will be held between 7 and 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. A second viewing will begin 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tracy Myers, Matthew Chronister, Jason Chronister, Kimberly Cease, Kristi Lochman, and Ruthann Medina.
