Rebecca Sue
Isenhart
Sep 22, 1959 — Nov 28, 2025
Rebecca "Becky" Sue Isenhart, 66, of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025, at Gettysburg Hospital.
Born September 22, 1959, in Buckhannon, West Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Norris Friend and Leabell (Lane) Friend.
Becky worked for many years as a Production Manager in the printing industry. Throughout her career she was employed by Moore's Business Forms, RHAJ Homes, the Neiman Group, and Southeastern States. She took great pride in her work and was widely known for her dedication, reliability, and strong work ethic.
Becky was a firecracker—loud, even explosive at times—but she lit up the sky with her kind heart and beautiful soul. She was a true fighter: feisty, bold, and fiercely independent. Deeply grounded in her faith as a woman of God she truly loved people. No matter who they were or their circumstances, Becky loved without condition.
She loved her West Virginian cast-iron skillet cooking, she was a silly soul who loved having fun and making others laugh. Becky found great joy in the beach, sunrises, and feeding ALL animals—wild or not. She bowled in a league for many years and had a creative spirit, always enjoying the simple act of giving to others. To so many, Becky was the "community mama," offering advice and comfort around her table to anyone who needed it.
She was a faithful member of GBC Church in Gettysburg. Becky gave generously of her time through volunteer service with Special Olympics Bowling, Babe Ruth Baseball, Recycled Teenagers, and Macedonian Ministries, quietly serving others in ways that reflected her deep faith and compassion.
Rebecca is survived by her son, Jeremy Isenhart, and his wife Allison; and her grandson, Cameron Bair. She is also survived by her brothers, Mark Friend and David Friend; and her special friends and caregivers, Amy Rich, Belinda and Steve Noel, Kathy Noel, Deborah Roberts, Angela Hunt, and Jen Brown.
There will be no public viewing. Following cremation, a memorial service to celebrate Rebecca's life will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. at GBC Church, 95 Fairview Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325, with Pastor Bill Mummert officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be held on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
