Patricia "Patsy" A. Godwin, 73 of Gettysburg, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 at her home.

Born November 13, 1937 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late LaVerne "Ike" Isaac and Lillian Louise (Anderson) Brendle.

Patsy was employed as a real estate closer and a waitress at the Mountain Gate Restaurant in Thurmont, MD. She was an avid reader, loved animals and playing bingo especially at the New Oxford Fire Hall.

Surviving are three sisters and two brothers: Barbara "Bobbie" Garde, Fairfield; Thomas LaVerne Brendle, Frederick, MD; Dianna Jill Brendle, Gettysburg; Heidi Gaye Long, Gettysburg; Jack Anderson Brendle, FL; also many nieces and nephews.

There will be no public viewing. Services will be private. Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17331 is assisting the family with their arrangements.
