Obituary

Pastor James A. Terzo, 95, of Gettysburg passed away on Wednesday December 5, 2007 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village and is now resting in Jesus. He was the husband of Jean E. (Snyder) Feeser Terzo of Gettysburg.

He was born March 12, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Peter and Josephine (DiBenedetto) Terzo.

Pastor Terzo was an ordained minister who served various churches in Pennsylvania and New Jersey for over 40 years. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church, Gettysburg.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Waldo Peter Terzo, Silver Spring, MD; a step daughter, Ruth Craigle, East Berlin; three step sons, Matthew Feeser, Hanover, Mark Feeser, Mount Joy, and Robert Feeser, Jr., Abbottstown; a brother, Vincent Terzo, Nevada; a sister, Evelyn Haduch, California; eight grandchildren, Jackie, Matt, Cole, Caroline, Becky, Shane, Noah, and Nathaniel; and seven great-grandchildren, Jayden, Lillie, Alana, Clint, Rose, Caitlyn, and Ethan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Terzo and John Terzo; and three sisters, Loretta Butera, Faye Giacona, and Audrey Carlo. The funeral will be held Monday, December 10, 2007 at 11 AM at the Seventh Day Adventist Church 1493 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, with Pastor Conrad A. Reichert officiating. There will be a viewing Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Craigle, Wilson Arentz, Leo Redding, Don Hershey, Matthew Feeser, Mark Feeser, Christopher Kiessling, and Johannes Stahl.

The Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
