Megan Marie Lewis, 24, of Gettysburg, walked into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, June 5, 2019.

Born April 5, 1995 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Roger W. and Brenda M. (Groft) Lewis, Gettysburg.

Megan graduated from Gettysburg High School in 2013 and was employed as a hostess with the Appalachian Brewing Company, Gettysburg.  She was passionate about her family, her friends and every animal on the planet.  Megan brought joy to everyone she encountered by loving everyone for who they were.

In addition to her parents, Megan is survived by her sisters and brothers, Laura Marie Lewis, Gettysburg, Jacob Gabriel Lewis and wife Shawna, Brooklyn, NY, Keturah Elizabeth Walter and husband Shawn, Tyler, TX, Rachel Elizabeth Shmidt and husband Kevin, Orrtanna, Ian Gabriel Lewis, Gettysburg and Hannah Elizabeth Lewis, Gettysburg; maternal grandparents, Carroll and Lorna Groft, Hanover and nine nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother Kevin James Lewis and her paternal grandparents, George and Jean Lewis.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Megan Marie Lewis will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 4 PM at Gettysburg Foursquare Church, 330 West Middle Street, Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Mark Chester officiating.
