Mary K. (Kraft) Silverstein, 82 of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Hospice House in Lecanto, FL On Monday, July 13, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late Leon Silverstein, who passed away August 9, 2017.

Born June 21, 1944 in Washington, DC, she was a daughter of the late Evans F. and Frances E. (Wickers) Kraft.

Mrs. Silverstein is fondly remembered as an avid Antique dealer and Elvis fan. She was known in the community as a great cook that would cook for all her neighbors and friends.

Mary is survived by one child: John R. Kraft of Inverness, FL and one step child Sandy Shea as well as her sister Barbara Apperson, her niece Kami Apperson and Karen Bowersox who she considered her daughter.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her twin sister Margery Kraft and her brother Robert Kraft.

Mary’s family will celebrate her life in private.
