Marion J. Peters, 97, of Gettysburg, passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 at SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Gettysburg.  She was the wife of the late Donald T. Peters who died September 20, 2002.

Born October 14, 1926 in Table Rock, she was the daughter of the late Dewey E. and Ruth (Snyder) Wolff.

Mrs. Peters was a homemaker and worked along side her husband Don at the Peters Funeral Home, Gettysburg. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg.  Marion loved bingo and was affectionately known as the "Bingo Queen".  A lover of all animals, she took in many strays through the years at the farm on Salem Church Road.

She is survived by her niece, Kathy Brehm, Michigan; nephews, Gregory Wolff, Louisiana and Chris Wolff, Texas and her caregivers, friends and "kids", Randy and Sandy Gardner and Hannah and Tim Viersma and Lara, all of Gettysburg.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene W. Wolff.

Services will be private.  Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
