Madeline Dawn (Nalls) Stahl, 82 of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at home. She was the loving wife of Edwin T. Stahl, Jr., of Gettysburg.

Born February 6, 1932 in Washington DC, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Gladys (Bowman) Nalls.

Madeline was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she loved taking walks, playing with her dog, listening to music, especially Tom Jones, talking to friends, cooking, and shopping. She loved her family and above all loved spending time with them, she especially cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Madeline is survived by her children, three sons, Ron Stahl and his wife Kim of Gettysburg, Denny Stahl and his wife Kathy of Gettysburg, Michael L. Stahl and his wife Sharon of Fairfield; one Daughter, Shari Smith of Pawleys Island, SC; a sister, Shirley Hinnett of Raleigh, NC; 15 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Buddy Nalls and one sister, Betty Blevins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Madeline Dawn (Nalls) Stahl will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the Peters Funeral, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Pastor Steve Baker officiating. A time to share memories with the family will be on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Madeline's memory to the Adams County SPCA 11 Goldenville Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
