Obituary

Lucille Williams, 78, of Gettysburg passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012 at the Gettysburg Hospital. She was the wife of the late Willie Williams, Jr.

She was born December 11, 1934 in New Brockton, Alabama the daughter of the late Maudie Clyde Hamilton.

Mrs. Williams was employed with Musselmans, Rice Packing House, Gardners and the Dobbin House, Gettysburg. She enjoyed cooking, got along with everyone and loved to make people laugh.

She is survived by her children, Annie Morris Smiley, Gettysburg, J. Marie Williams, Newark, DE, Loriann Williams, Pennsylvania, Harold Curtis, Chambersburg, Dennis Williams, Gettysburg, Wayne Williams, York, Rickey Williams, York and Melvin Williams, Huntsdale, step-daughter, Ethel Dastino, Gettysburg, step-son, Kenny Jordan, Pennsylvania, brother, Jesse B. Hamilton, Croton, NY, sisters, Mary Dean Maudry, Miami, FL and Annie Lois Curtis, Gettysburg, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, gr. gr. grandchildren and gr. gr. gr. grandchildren and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Williams and sons Robin and Willie James Williams.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 28, 2012 at 12 noon at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Steven Baker officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.
