Louis Sherwood James, 80, of Fayetteville, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday May 8th, 2013. He was the loving husband of Helen B. James, who passed away in August 2012. They were happily married for 57 years.

He was born on October 12th, 1932 in Harrisburg, the son of the late Marlin and Emma (Graham) James.

Louis received his bachelor's degree from Temple University where he met his wife Helen. He led a very successful professional career serving as a Senior Financial Executive for numerous businesses.

He is survived by his son Douglas James of Mechanicsburg, daughter Sherry Yingling and husband Greg of Gettysburg, son Randy James and wife Linda of Lansdale, daughter Karen Smith and husband Damon of York Springs, daughter Nancy Newman and husband Shawn of Orrtanna: grandchildren Lindsey and Danielle James, Alexander Yingling, Valerie, Kirsten and Diana James, Dillon and Emma Smith and Christopher and Tyler Newman.

He was preceded in death by his son Ronald T. James, sister, Carol Graham and brothers Robert and Joseph Graham.

There will be no public viewing.

Services will be private.
