Larry Eugene Crum, 64 of Hanover and formerly of Biglerville peacefully passed away on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Genesis Health Care, Gettysburg Center. He was the loving husband of Shirley J. (Zeigler) Crum, Hanover to whom he was married to for 44 years.
He was born June 18, 1947 in Gettysburg the son of the late Robert I. and Sally Rose (Russell) Crum.
Larry was employed at Emeco Furniture Factory, Hanover, Hanover Foods and GNS Foods, Abbottstown.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his daughter, Vickie Crouse, Gardners, son, Michael Crum, Albion, granddaughter, Andrea Crouse, grandson, Travis Crouse and great grandsons, Cameron and Carter Colon.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Julia Eyler and his brother Robert Crum.
A service to celebrate the life of Larry Crum will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Jay E. Zimmerman officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Biglerville Cemetery, Biglerville. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Crouse, Paul Tait, Wayne Rippeon, Ronnie Strausbaugh, Derek Strausbaugh and Kenny Dehoff, Jr.
