Obituary

GETTYSBURG Kevin James Lewis, 23, was killed Saturday night in an
automobile accident in Cumberland Township. He was the son of Roger and
Brenda Lewis of Gettysburg.

He was a 2007 graduate of Gettysburg High School and was employed by
the 1863 Inn of Gettysburg. Kevin had a passion for animals and was a
master video gamer. He was known for his sharp sense of humor and for
caring deeply for his siblings. He was a strong young man who overcame
many challenges without complaining about them.

He is survived by seven siblings, Jacob Lewis and his wife Shawna of
Chambersburg, Ian Lewis of Gettysburg, Keturah Walter and her husband
Shawn of Tyler, TX, Laura Lewis of Hanover, Rachel Lewis of
McSherrystown, Hannah Speelman and her husband Cody of Gettysburg and
Megan Lewis of Gettysburg. He is survived by 2 nephews, Gabriel Lewis
and CJ Speelman both of Gettysburg.

He is survived by maternal grandparents, Carroll and Lorna Groft of
Hanover and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was predeceased by grandparents George and Jean Lewis of Gettysburg.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 10am at Freedom Valley
Church, 3185 York Road, Gettysburg with funeral following at 11am.
Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. Pallbearers are Randy Groft, Andrew Senft,
Kevin Holcomb, Cody Speelman, Jacob Lewis, and Carman Pringle.
