Kenneth A. Scott, 81 of York Springs passed away peacefully at Laurel Lakes Nursing Home in Chambersburg.  He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy L. (Ensor) Scott.

Born August 31, 1942 in Gettysburg, he was a son of the late Charles S. and Premilia E. (Fitzwater) Scott.

Mr. Scott is fondly remembered as an extremely hard-working man.  A heavy equipment mechanic by trade, he imparted his wisdom to his two sons, and the thing he enjoyed most was operating his backhoe and other equipment.  He also enjoyed listening to Gospel and country music.

Kenneth is survived by two sons, Jeffrey and Douglas Scott, his brother, Gynn Scott, as well as many loving nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Grailing S. Scott.

Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate Ken's life will held on Friday, November 3rd at Red Mount United Methodist Church Cemetery; 1883 Baltimore Pike in East Berlin.
