Keith S. Coffelt, 55, of Biglerville, passed away at his home on Monday, May 23, 2016.

He was born September 26, 1960 in Washington, D.C., the son of R. Marie (Bemies) Coffelt, Fairfield and Harry W. Coffelt and wife Winifred, Orrtanna.

Keith graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1978 and later received an Associate's Degree from Central Penn Business School in 1980. He was a sleep technologist at the M.S. Hershey Medical Center. A member of Freedom Valley Church, Keith was very active in the Men's Ministry and was a member of the Knights of the 21st Century. Keith was a life member of the Bonneauville Fire Dept., was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and was an avid historian, especially family genealogy.

In addition to his parents, Keith is survived by his daughter, Rebekah Smith, Biglerville; son, William Coffelt, Gettysburg, sister, Ann Kint and husband Kelly, Hanover; brother, Ross Coffelt, Sterling, VA; granddaughter, Bailee Smith, Biglerville and another grandchild on the way.

A service to celebrate the life of Keith S. Coffelt will be held Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 10 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Pastor Gerry Stoltzfoos officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Friday from 6 to 8 PM and on Saturday from 9 to 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
