Kathleen P. Kircher, 81, passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. A resident of Gettysburg since 1973, she was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Ross H. Kircher. Kathy was born on March 18, 1943, in Norristown, PA, to Albert T. and Elizabeth M. Kline. She was also predeceased by her sister, Mary E. DeChristopher and her Sister-in-law, Greta M Donahue.
Kathy graduated from Ambler High School in 1962. She first worked for UNIVAC and was a proud member of the Civil Air Patrol. Alongside her husband, Ross, she helped manage their antique military business, which took them traveling frequently around the country. She also worked at the American Frame Shoppe, where she formed many friendships in the Gettysburg community.
A dedicated member of the Gettysburg Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, Kathy served as a Deacon and formed many lasting friendships through her active involvement in church activities.
Kathy is survived by her three daughters: Cheryl L. Kline, Heather L. Cluck, and Amber L. Myers; five grandchildren; one great-grandson; as well as two sisters, one brother and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate Kathy's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, at Gettysburg Presbyterian Church, 208 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service.
Arrangements are under the care of Peters Funeral Home, Inc. in Gettysburg.
