Katherine "Kathy" Louise Stull, 61, of Hanover, perished peacefully on Saturday, May 21 at the York Hospital, with her family by her side.
Kathy was born on May 2, 1955 in Harrisburg, PA, but lived most of her life in Adams County. She was the daughter of late John Harvath and Olive Maxine Bell, of Harrisburg PA.
At the age of 50, Kathy fulfilled her life-long dream and was baptized by Rev. Kenneth G. Swick of Upper Bermudian Lutheran Church in Gardners, PA.
Kathy was known for her calm disposition, infinite kindness and generosity toward others and her flare for making life-long friends out of strangers. She was happiest around her family and was often a peace-keeper among them. Despite her many trials, as a young girl, she blossomed into a tenacious hero to her children, persisting to support them and show continual love and interest in their life's work. "I'm so proud of you" were words her children heard often.
She offered acceptance to each and every person she knew. The mention of Kathy's name to anyone who'd met her often sparked an immediate smile. She held her relationships with God, her family and friends very close to her heart and maintained that there'd "always be room for more".
She is survived by her greatest loves- her son- David Stull Jr. and his wife, Mona Stull, her daughters Melissa Stull and Christina Stull, her granddaughters, Chelsea Stull and Tia Stull and grandson, Tyler Stull. Her sister, Patricia Luckens and brothers, Mark Johnson, Brian and David Harvath. She is pre-deceased by 1 sister, Mary Lee Bell and 1 brother, John Harvath Jr.
