She was born July 7, 1921 in Huntingdon the daughter of the late Clarence Oscar and Lilly Bell (Stevens) Myers.

Becky retired from the Gettysburg Lutheran Home as the laundry supervisor. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gettysburg Moose and was a member of the Gettysburg Elks.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, George Boring and his wife Catherine, Gettysburg, Ronald Boring and his wife Deb, Gettysburg, Susan Finkboner and her husband Robert, Richboro and Alan Boring and his husband Mark, Norfolk, VA, brother, Casper Myers, Huntingdon, sisters, Martha Carson, Emeritus, CA, Ellen Hakanen, Nanty Glo and Betty Jane Smith, Maryland, seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and three step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Donald Boring and several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 3, 2013 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Michael E. Allwein officiating. A time to share memories and an opportunity to view will be on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg. Serving as pallbearers will be Andy Boring, Jordan Boring, Nate Boring, Eric Wall, Ryan Lindblom and Brandon Crouse.
