Judy Ann (Marzola) Miller, 63, of Fairfield, died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her residence. She was the loving wife of Terry L. Miller, her husband of 16 years.

Born September 2, 1946 in Pikesville, MD, she was the daughter of Francisco D. and Virginia (Burrows) Marzola, of Jonesboro, TN.

Mrs. Miller was a Registered Nurse who began her career in Baltimore working with handicapped children. After moving to Pennsylvania, she worked at a number of local facilities, including the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village, Green Acres Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Golden Living Center, The Brethren Home Community, and the Gettysburg Hospital. She also served as a manager with Lutheran Home Care throughout Adams County until her retirement in 1996. In her free time, Mrs. Miller was active with the Rainbow Singles at the Hanover YWCA which was where she met her husband.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Joanna Ross and her husband Jeffrey of Sherills Ford, NC, and Kathy Snyder of Fayetteville, NC; her son-in-law, Bill Kern of Fayetteville, NC; and two granddaughters, Christina Ross of Sherills Ford, NC, and Stephanie Kern, of Fayetteville. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Kern.

A private memorial service will be held with Keith A. Searfoss, Spiritual Care Coordinator of Odyssey Hospice, officiating. The Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, is in charge of arrangements.
