Josette M. Boglio's Obituary
Josette M. Boglio, 87, of Gettysburg, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the Gettysburg Center.
She was born May 14, 1928 in St. Paul, MN, the daughter of the late Violette Boglio.
Josette graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1951with a Bachelor's Degree in French and a minor in Art. In 1963, she received her Master's Degree in Teaching from Columbia University. She taught Elementary Education in Connecticut from 1951 to 1959 and also taught Elementary Education in France from 1955 to 1959. From 1960 until her retirement, she taught French in New Jersey.
She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Gettysburg and enjoyed painting and drawing.
There will be no viewing, at Josette's request she is participating in the Humanity Gifts Registry. She will be missed by her friends and caring staff at the Genesis Healthcare, Gettysburg Center.
Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg is handling the arrangements.
