John W. Mcdannell's Obituary
John W. McDannell, 79, of Biglerville, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at his residence.
Born February 8, 1930, in Adams County, he was the son of the late Paul W. and Margaret (Harbold) McDannell.
Mr. McDannell was a former member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Biglerville.
Surviving is a son, Johnathan McDannell, of Palm Springs, CA; five sisters and three brothers, Kathleen McDannell, of Gettysburg, Louise Deardorff, of Biglerville, Clara Redding, of Gettysburg; Edna Showers, of Orrtanna, Alice Williams, of New Oxford, Mark McDannell, of Orrtanna, Eugene McDannell, of Ortanna, Bernard McDannell, of Orrtanna; two half-sisters, Violet Moss, of Gettysburg, and Gladys Weaver, of McSherrystown.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Baker and Betty McBeth.
A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 at Biglerville Cemetery.
