Obituary

Jed Allen Cramer, 27, of Littlestown, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Hanover Hospital. He was the loving boyfriend of Krista Farrell of Littlestown.

He was born Dec. 7, 1980 in Gettysburg, the son of Jack Allen and Shirley (Cool) Cramer of Gettysburg.

Jed graduated in 1999 from Gettysburg High School, was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Gettysburg and was most recently employed as a laborer with Facchina Construction in Maryland. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors, especially the times spent at his grandfather's farm on the Knoxlyn road. Jed was a wonderful Dad with a heart of gold who was always willing to help those in need.

In addition to his parents and girlfriend, Jed is survived by his son, Kevin Allen Cramer of Littlestown; his brother, Jack Archer Cramer and his wife Kristi of Cashtown; his nephew and niece, Jayden T. Cramer and Madison A. Cramer, both of Cashtown; and his grandfather, James C. Hoak of Gettysburg.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, E. Romaine Hoak, who died in 1999 and his maternal grandparents, Erma G. and Grant H. Cool.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

A trust fund will be established for the benefit of Jed's son Kevin, contributions to that fund may be made to the Adams County National Bank, Lincoln Square, Gettysburg, PA 17325.

The Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
