James A. Riss, Sr., 95, of McKnightstown, PA and formerly of Bethlehem, PA, passed away Monday, March 22, 2021 at WellSpan Gettysburg Hospital.  He was the loving husband of Helen Ann (Quaranta) Riss, McKnightstown, PA.  Together they shared 73 years of marriage.

He is survived by his children, James A. Riss, Jr. and wife Jean, McKnightstown, PA, Cheryl A. O'Hagan, McKinney, TX, Gregory R. Riss, Woodbridge, VA, Cynthia E. Murphy, Muncy, PA, Christopher A. Riss, Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Kimberly E. Wheterhold and husband Mark, Muncy, PA; brother, Gerard E. Riss, Las Vegas, NV; 17 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
