Heriberto D. "Eddie" Casanova, 88 of Hanover, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2014 at the Hanover Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Charlotte M. (Roberts) Casanova.

Born June 14, 1926 in Luquillo, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Jovito Davila Rodriquez and Cristina Ruperta Casanova.

Eddie is survived by five children; daughter, Olga Johnson and her husband Dennis of Detroit, MI; four sons, Edward Casanova of Hanover, Herbert Casanova and his wife Karen of Blue Ridge Summit, Joseph "Jose" Casanova of Humble, TX, Jovito Casanova and his wife Sherri of Fort Polk, LA; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren. Eddie is also survived by several brothers and sisters and many other loving extended family members.

In addition to his parents and wife, Eddie was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Sunday, December 28, 2014 at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St. Gettysburg, PA 17325. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap Nation Cemetery, Annville, at 11 a.m. Monday, December 29th.
