Helen C. (Barnes) Wolff, 97 of Macomb, MI, formerly of Gettysburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at home. She was the loving wife of the late Eugene Wolff who passed away in 2004; together they shared 57 years of marriage.

Born June 13, 1921 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Emma (Smith) Barnes.

Helen was a loving mother and grandmother; she cherished time spent with her family, in her free time Helen enjoyed reading.

Helen is survived by two sons, Gregory Wolff of New Orleans, LA, Christopher Wolff of Houston, TX; a daughter, Kathryn Breen of Detroit, MI; two granddaughters, Anne and Andrea; a great granddaughter Emma; a sister Linda Fowler of Tyrone, PA; a sister-in-law Marion Peters of Gettysburg and many loving nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Helen was preceded in death by three sisters, Emma, Margaret and Joan.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 12 p.m. on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, PA with Deacon Stephen Huete officiating. A time to share memories with the family and an opportunity to view will be on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
