Born January 22, 1921, in Adams County, she was a daughter of the late Clair and Carrie A. (Hardman) Foulk.
Mrs. Huff was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. She owned and operated Helen Huff's Beauty Shop between 1953 and 1970. Mrs. Huff was later employed as a socialization and recreation aide with the Association of the Blind in Gettysburg. In her free time, she loved cooking and listening to music.
Surviving is her daughter, Betty Cassatt and her husband Gary of Gettysburg; her brother, Harry Foulk of Myerstown, PA; her grandson, Gary Cassatt, Jr., of Shippensburg; two great-grandchildren, Nathan Cassatt and Marissa Cassatt; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Foulk and "Charlie Boy" Foulk; and her sister, Frances McCleaf.
The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Christ Chapel of Gettysburg College, located on the corner of North Washington St. and Stevens St., with Pastor Todd R. Westphal and Rev. Michael E. Allwein officiating. Viewing will begin 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens. The Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, is in charge of arrangements.
