Grover A. "Wolfie" Wolfe 61, of Thomasville entered God's eternal care on Monday, May 23, 2011 at his home.

He was born March 29, 1950 in Gettysburg, the son of the late Roy J. Wolfe, Sr. and Blanche (Lannen) Wolfe.

Wolfie was a graduate of Gettysburg High School and was employed for a number of years for Mr. Thompson at the Avenue Diner, Gettysburg. He retired from Harley Davidson, York (formerly AMF) after 35 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his sister and her dog Molly.

Wolfie is survived by his sister, Miriam Wolfe, Gettysburg, brother Alan Wolfe and nephew Thomas Schaut, South Hampton, NJ.

He was preceded in death by his brother Gene Wolfe.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 at 11 AM at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Chambersburg Road, Gettysburg with Pastor Ed Brower officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM Thursday at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg.
