Obituary

Geraldine M. Geiman, 93, of Gettysburg, passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Gettysburg Lutheran Retirement Village. She was the loving wife of the late Walter W. Geiman who died June 9, 2001.

She was born November 15, 1921 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late Harry George and Ella May (Myers) Fleming.

Mrs. Geiman was a seamstress at the Gettysburg and New Oxford sewing factories. She was a member of Great Conewago Presbyterian Church, Hunterstown and a member of the Women's Association at the church.

She is survived by her children, Linda Witherow, Plattsburg, Missouri, Walter W. Geiman, Jr. and wife Louella, Pea Ridge, Arkansas, Pamela Blount and husband, Larry, Gettysburg and Deborah Geiman, Glen Rock, sister, Margie Dellinger and husband Paul, Gettysburg, seven grandchildren, three step grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, George, Leroy, Robert, Harvey, Maurice "Bo" and Earl Fleming, sister, Elsie Taylor and son-in-law, James Witherow.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 7, 2015 at 11 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Rev. Steven F. Baker officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
