Garnet M. Miller, 74, of Gettysburg, passed peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015 at Spirit Trust, Gettysburg.

She was born February 22, 1941 in Gettysburg, the daughter of the late Kenneth Raymond and Mary Catherine (Fritz) Miller.

Garnet retired from the Public Utility Commission, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania after 22 years and also worked at Murphy's, Gettysburg. She was a member of Flohr's Lutheran Church, McKnightstown and was an avid NASCAR fan.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Dwyer and husband Dan, New Port Richey, FL; son, Duane Miller and girlfriend Crystal Golden, Gettysburg; grandchildren, Daniel Dwyer, Jr. and Kevin Dwyer and great grandchildren, Samuel, Michael and Emma Dwyer.

She was preceded in death by her sister, RuthAnn Gardner and brother, Charles Miller.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Flohr's Lutheran Church Cemetery, 595 Flohr's Church Road, McKnightstown with Rev. Thomas E. Darr officiating. The family will receive friends and share memories on Thursday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg.
