Felix was born February 8, 1943, in Ladzan, Poland; he was a son of the late Ferdinand and Anna J. (Lang) Tauscher.

After moving to the United States and attending school, Felix enlisted in the Marine Corps and served his country for four honorable years. Mr. Tauscher loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them at family functions. Felix was also a passionate and devoted union member for 43 years with IUOE Local 542.

Felix is survived by three sons, Alex Tauscher and wife Sherry of Middletown, Todd Tauscher of Gettysburg, and Eric Tauscher and wife Tina of Hanover. Mr. Tauscher is also survived by three sisters, Stephanie Appler, Marie Sloan, and Liz Tauscher; and a brother, Karl Tauscher.

Felix was preceded in death by a son, Scott Tauscher.

Following cremation, a memorial service celebrating the life of Mr. Tauscher will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, December 15, at Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with Father Bernado Pistone officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
