Obituary

Ethel Grace Muller, 85, of Gettysburg passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Green Acres. She was the loving wife of James W. Muller, who died July 6, 1999.

Born January 17, 1922 in Johnstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Emily V. (Peer) Miller.

Mrs. Muller was a homemaker and a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Gettysburg. She had been employed at Fantasy Land, Gettysburg, and Green Acres for a number of years. She was an avid college football fan who enjoyed crossword puzzles and taking care of her flower garden.

She is survived by her sons, James W. Muller and his wife Beth, of York Springs, and Steven D. Muller, of Pennsylvania; two sisters, Mary Jane Anastasio, of York, and Judy Sullivan, of Abbottstown; two brothers, Boyd Miller of Wichita, TX, and Rodney Miller, of Phoenix, AZ; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Emily Diane Simmons; two sisters, Annabelle Reynolds and Geraldine Anthony; and two brothers, Dean Miller and Jack Miller.

The funeral service will be held Saturday November 10, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg, with Rev. Leon G. Bird officiating. There will be a viewing Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gettysburg.
