She was born October 12, 1927 in York Springs, PA the daughter of the late Walter Raymond and Laura K. (Eckert) Group.

Mrs. LeGore was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Gettysburg and the Ladies Auxiliary #182 of the Gettysburg Moose. She had been employed with Green Acres, Gettysburg for 23 years.

She is survived by five daughters; Linda A. Hughes, Whitehall, Lucille M. Yingling, Gettysburg, Louella M. Geiman, Arkansas, Laura K. Porter, Hanover and Lena I. LeGore, New Oxford, a son; Leonard R. Benner, Gettysburg, 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son; LaVerne A. LeGore and a daughter; Darlene L. LeGore.

The funeral will be Thursday December 6, 2007 at 2PM at Peters Funeral Home 321 Carlisle St. Gettysburg with Rev. Leon G. Bird officiating. There will be a viewing Thursday at the funeral home from 1PM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Benders Lutheran Cemetery, Biglerville. Serving as pallbearers will be; Sam Hughes, Colton Hughes, Don Biegley, Samantha Biegley, John Porter, Mike Kennedy, Matt Muller and Dustin Muller.

Memorial contributions in Ethel's memory may be made to Salem United Methodist Church 224 Low Dutch Rd. Gettysburg, PA 17325.
