Dr. Emilio A. Rodríguez's Obituary
Dr. Emilio A. Rodríguez, 56, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007 while teaching in Dublin, Ireland. He was the husband of Amelia Y. Rodríguez.
Born September 18, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, he was a son of the late Emilo A. and Pauline J. (Ross) Rodríguez.
In addition to his wife, Dr. Rodríguez is survived by his son, John P. Rodríguez and John's fiancé, Michelle S. Milly; two brothers, Joseph Ross Rodríguez and Paul M. Rodríguez, a nephew and three nieces.
He is predeceased by his sister, Patti Michelle Rodríguez.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception on the Mount St. Mary's University campus.
While appreciative of the outpouring of support from the Mount Community and beyond, the family asks that, in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to Mount St. Mary's University c/o the Emilio A. Rodríguez Fund for International Studies – or to either the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
