Edith S. Settle's Obituary
Edith S. Settle, 78, of Gettysburg passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Golden Living Center, Gettysburg. She was the loving wife of John W. Settle, Gettysburg her husband of 59 years.
She was born April 6, 1934 in Gettysburg the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Edith (Smiley) Bushman.
Edith was a waitress at several restaurants in the Gettysburg area and was a secretary at Zerfing's Hardware, Gettysburg. She was a member of Gettysburg United Methodist Church.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her niece and nephew.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Margaret LeGay.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11 AM at the McKnightstown Cemetery, Old Route 30, McKnightstown, PA with Rev. Jay E. Zimmerman officiating.
