Edgar Hernandez, 25, of Hanover, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at home.

He was the son of Javier Hernandez-Avilez and Raquel Gomez Penaloza both of Mexico.

Edgar graduated from Gettysburg High School in 2011 and later graduated from Empire Beauty School.

In addition to his parents, Edgar is survived by his grandparents, Jose Luis Hernandez and Maria Hernandez, Gettysburg and many family members in Pennsylvania and Mexico.

Family and friends will process from Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 25 High Street, Gettysburg for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 PM with Rev. Daniel Mitzel as celebrant.  The family will receive friends and share memories on Wednesday beginning at 10 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Mexico.
