Doris Fay Sheppard's Obituary
Doris Fay Sheppard, 61 of Fayetteville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 11, 2017 at the Village of Laurel Run.
Born Monday, March 26, 1956 in Gettysburg, she was a daughter of the late Wilmer C. and Kathryn E. (Slaybaugh) Sheppard.
Doris was a loving sister and aunt; she loved her family and spending time with them at family gatherings. Doris enjoyed bingo, shopping and watching her soaps.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Sheppard.
Following cremation, a graveside service to celebrate the life of Doris will be held at 11a.m. on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Chambersburg Rd., Gettysburg, PA.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of The Village of Laurel Run and to Heartland Hospice for their professionalism and compassion during this mournful time.
Doris is survived by a sister, Dorothy E. McDannell and her husband Mark; two nieces, Barbara Grace, Marie Bollinger; a nephew, James McDannell, many loving great nieces, nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Sheppard.
