Doris E. (Baumgardner) Rusinko, 94 of New Oxford, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Rusinko who passed away May 3, 2016; together they shared 70 years of marriage after meeting at the Carlisle Army Barracks.

Born October 17, 1924 in Ashland, OH, she was a daughter of the late Clyde W., Sr. and Elizabeth (Warner) Baumgardner.

Doris was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother she cherished her family especially the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She formed many friendships in her community during her years working at the Revonah Spinning Mills in Hanover PA and selling Avon.

Doris is survived by her sons, Michael D. Rusinko and his wife Beth of Graham, N.C., Larry E. Rusinko of New Oxford, Ricky C. Rusinko and his long time companion Lori of New Oxford and Robert A. Rusinko and his companion Diane of New Oxford, as well as 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and a sister, Beatrice Walker of Ashland, OH.

In addition to her parents and husband, Doris was preceded in death by a brother, Clyde W. Baumgardner, Jr.

There will be no public viewing. Following cremation a memorial service to celebrate the life of Doris will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at her home, 110 Brickcrafter Rd., New Oxford PA 17350.
