Dennis Andrew "Midnight" Williams, Sr., 57, of Gettysburg, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at home.

He was born April 16, 1960 in Quincy, Florida, the son of the late Willie, Jr. and Lucille (Hamilton) Williams.

Dennis served in the United States Marine Corp and the U.S. Army Reserves.  He was employed with Round Hill, New Oxford and was a member of the Gettysburg Eagles Aerie #1562.  Dennis enjoyed shooting pool and fishing.

He is survived by his children, Summer Williams and fiancé Steven Bennett, Gettysburg, Dominique Ditto and husband Jacob, Lorton, VA and Dennis A. Williams, Jr., Gettysburg; sisters, Annie Smiley, Gettysburg, J. Marie Williams, Newark, DE and Loriann Williams, Lancaster; brothers, Harold Curtis, Chambersburg, Ricky Williams, York, Wayne Williams, Hanover, Melvin Williams, Houtzdale, Tim Cullison, Gettysburg and Norman Montgomery, Gettysburg and grandchildren, Jevonte Williams, Tavon Williams, Tashawn Lemke, Julie Williams, Makayla Williams, Nejaythan Ditto, Aaliyah Bennett and Zahori Bennett.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Williams and brothers Willie James Williams and Robin Williams.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2PM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg with Pastor David Roberts officiating.  The family will receive friends and share memories from 1 PM until the start of the service at the funeral home.
