She was born October 31, 1959 in Hanover the daughter of Clara G. (Rider) Sanders, Gettysburg and the late Wayne E. Sanders.
Deb graduated from Bermudian Springs High School and was employed with Musselman's, Biglerville for 25 years. She was also a licensed real estate agent with Coldwell Banker Bigham, Realtors in Gettysburg. Deb enjoyed reading, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her mother, Deb is survived by her son, Nathan Sanders, Phoenix, AZ, step-daughter, Kelly Nelson Tyree and husband Carl, Darnestown, MD, brothers, Tim Sanders, Gettysburg and Greg Sanders and wife, Dawn, Elizabethtown, sisters, Judy Sanders, Las Vegas, NV and Jackie Hall, York, grandchildren, Xavier Sanders, Phoenix, AZ and Paige, Jackson and Josephine Tyree all of Darnestown, MD and her beloved pets, Winslow and Sox.
She was preceded in death by her brother David Sanders.
Services will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 11AM at the Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle St., Gettysburg. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6 to 8 PM and on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Contributions in memory of Deborah K. Sanders may be made to the Adams County SPCA, 11 Goldenville Rd., Gettysburg, PA 17325 or to the American Cancer Society, 424 East Middle Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
