David M. Wilt's Obituary
David Martin Wilt, 68 of Gettysburg and formerly of Rockville, MD passed peacefully on November 7, 2008 at home.
He was born January 21, 1940 in Rockville, MD the son of the late George and Eva (Fletcher) Wilt.
Mr. Wilt served with the U.S. Army, 800th MP Unit and was employed as Service Manager with Hickman's Exxon, Rockville, MD. He was a loving grandfather to Ryan Michael Wilt; Michael Anthony Wilt; Bradley Matthew Wilt; Rachel Ann Wilt and Braden Edward Wilt.
In addition to his grandchildren, he is survived by his sons, David M. Wilt of Emmitsburg, MD and Jeffrey D. Wilt of Gettysburg, former wife, Georgia Wilt of Gettysburg and two brothers, George Wilt of Tennessee and Ronald Wilt of Urbana, MD.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Williamson and two brothers, William Wilt and Donald Wilt.
There will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Peters Funeral Home, 321 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg is assisting the family with the arrangements.
